Co-created with
judges, barristers
& scientists.

The GHHRA VR system is not a gamified version of employment law. Every interaction, every judicial response, every branching decision tree was designed in direct collaboration with people who have actually sat in Employment Tribunal hearings — as judges, advocates, and parties.

Neuroscience and educational psychology are not applied afterwards as a pedagogical layer. They are the architectural framework within which the legal content was designed — determining pacing, pressure calibration, feedback timing, and the cognitive sequencing of each module.

“When a student stands at the virtual lectern and the judge asks a question they did not expect, the stress response is real. The memory formed from navigating that moment is categorically stronger than reading the same procedural rule in a textbook.” — Dr. Mallika Sen, Chief Research Officer

Tribunal Practitioners

Every scenario co-designed with Employment Tribunal judges and practising barristers. Branching responses are drawn from live precedent, not simulation logic.

Ψ

Neuroscience — Dr. Mallika Sen

Every scene transition, feedback moment, and pressure spike is calibrated against research on stress inoculation, dopamine-reinforced learning, and spatial memory consolidation.

Educational Psychology — Kate Busch

HCPC-registered educational psychologist Kate Busch designed the student journey — from onboarding through hearing to feedback — optimised for cognitive load, learning sustainability, and trauma-informed care.

AI Behavioural Modelling

The judge, witnesses, and respondent rep are not scripted: their behaviour is modelled to vary with student performance, building genuine unpredictability into the simulation.

Beyond the standard modules.

GHHRA also offers bespoke commission work for universities, regulators, and professional bodies that need custom VR modules — built by the same team that designed the core platform. Jurisdiction-specific, doctrine-specific, language-specific.

“We don't hand you a templated module. We design from the doctrine outward, the same way we designed the core platform.”
